MONITORING AND EVALUATION

NRMC believes in the primacy of primary stakeholders in the project processes and therefore its approach to M&E and other related expertise is participatory. Following a multidisciplinary approach to M&E, NRMC blends technical aspects with different social, economic and institutional elements in its design for M&E processes. We see M&E as a decision support system rather than a punitive system. Within M&E, NRMC provide support in design, implementing, managing and reviewing monitoring systems for programmes and projects besides providing capacity building support for the organizations to effectively implement M&E systems. NRMC also undertakes evaluations of various programmes, projects and partnerships. Contemporary concepts like Logical Framework Approach, results chain and outcome mapping are used depending on the nature of the assignment.
